Cheap Plus Size Maternity Clothes

Postby DarkSekretLove25 on Fri Apr 15, 2011 12:03 am

I've always been a big girl and I'm almost 30 weeks now and although I've only gained about 17lbs so far all the XL maternity clothes I have and come across aren't fitting me too well anymore. I'm afraid if i get any bigger im gonna be stuck wearing pajamas ans sweat pants in this hot ass texas heat. I'm really not worried about tops so much, just bottoms. I've been to a lot of thrift and discount stores and I haven't been able to find anything

how crafty are you? cause you can sew a band of elasticated jersey stuff on top of any XXXXXXXL jeans to accommodate a bump, there'll be a few online tutorials.

Otherwise my mum's weird maternity book says loose smock dresses and dungarees... i know i know, not massively flattering but if you cut the dungarees into shorts, or wear dresses made from really light cotton you might be able to beat the heat!

I lived in overalls. The dickie ones were my favorite. They sell em at wal-mart in the mens department. They come in all sizes. With my daughter, my middle child, i gained 88lbs. Since it's going to be summer you can probably find short-alls. I hear those are making a come back!
