music for a fashion show?

Postby NesNes on Tue Jan 11, 2011 1:19 pm

Sooo I have a little problem and I'm desperate...

my schools fashion show is very soon and I have to send them 2 optional music titles for the show tomorrow.
my problem is that the songs have to be at least 5 minutes long and it has to be apropriate for a fashion show so models can walk to it (so not too fast, not too slow)
if anyone here has some advise I would be more than grateful

a few things about my collection...
the main theme is schizophrenia, you can watch the video here:

and some pictures in this thread here:

I actually like the song from the video, but I can't use it twice since the video will be shown too...
HELP!

I would go for something largely instrumental and with a good clear beat throughout.

I'm thinking Orbital's "Halcyon", "Belfast" "Chime" or maybe "Satan". You can easily pitch up/down an mp3 to the tempo you want.

i'm too sexy by right said fred. seriously i agree with max, i know 808 state has a lot of instrumentals that are pretty easy to "santer and strut" to. want some harder stuff? check out danzig's black aria maybe black aria 2 as well. maybe since you are going with schizophrenia maybe just pop in the wall or dark side of the moon by pink floyd, if you want to get kinda lazy about it. of course taking a few from everything, starting kind of mellow then working up to a grand dark finally is always good too.
good luck.

^ I noticed that this morning and it made me chuckle. We're both slim dudes with glasses so no worries.
