I'm not really going to say much, because the website has all the offical information. But I just think that this is really sick, and I just have a hard time believing that people can actually do that to innocent animals.

Please check out this website, and help PETA2 stop the murder of innocent seals.

I'm not for the slaughtering of seals or anything, but I HATE PETA. Nothing is ever good enough for them. I signed their like pledge to go veg thing or whatever, several years ago, and I did. But within weeks I was getting shit about how I'm a terrible person if I don't go vegan cuz veggie isn't good enough.

PETA follows me on Twitter, and all I talk about on there lately is the movie Cannibal Holocaust. I think they're targeting me.

I'm all for animal rights and everything, but that video was a little much. Like the cartoon was targeted for kids and then BAM BABYSEALBRAINS. The coloring sheets pissed me off too, they have one with sasquatch holding a bloody club. I wouldn't give that to my kid, but hey, thats just me.

I vaguely remember a thread about the seal hunt somewhere around here but couldn't find it. I really encourage people to learn more about what actually happens during the hunt and what it means to the Aboriginal communities. Most of what's on the news (especially international news--sorry) is absolutely bullshit and based on a bizarre PETA anti-sealing video from the '80s. (The last I checked, PETA has no credibility as a legitimate source and it's 2010.)

It does have it's purposes practically and traditionally.

Yeah. I really love how PETA has all the pictures of the cute little whitecoat pups looking sad and hunted. Too bad it's illegal to hunt those pups.

And just to give people an idea: the seal population is just over 5 million. The hunt quota for 2009 was 280,000.
