Organizing in the kitchen, with FedEx!

Postby Ms Minx on Sun Dec 20, 2009 11:32 pm

I use plastic shopping bags for trash, so I save them all. This weekend was mega winter cleaning, and i was getting annoyed with how much room they took up. I remembered my friend had a plastic tube that she shoved them in that stuck to the back of her cabinet door.

I went to KMart, no luck finding one, but I think I cracked the sales guy up when I asked for 'the tubey thingie that sticks to doors for bags'.

As I walked home thinking how to velcro a tube on my cabinet, i passed the FedEx store - VOILA!!!!!

Step one - cut to the height you need, and then fold inside out.

Step two - staple the sides together, then use the sticky strip and stick that to your door to hold it.

I was going to make it look cute and spray paint it before I put it on the door, but I didn't have time...

Awesome!
I definitely need to do this.
I finally broke down and stuck all the bags invading my closet into a box, but this would be much cuter.
