What sort of "gifts" do you guys really appreciate?

I feel like my boyfriend and I are on opposite scedules with work and sleep and etc etc(we live together but sometimes only see eachother briefly each day as our paths cross)...sometimes I want to do some sort of little gesture that says "I was thinking about you" or something less corny. Just like a little something I can leave in his car, or on the bathroom sink before I go to work.

Be it storebought, handmade, etc, whats a little gesture or gift that you can really appreciate and not just think is corny or lame?

I know you are asking a guys advice.. but one thing you could do is leave little notes for him, in the bathroom, kitchen, car, etc.

sweet, simple notes. or even ones that say "your sexy!" or "i love you". that's just a thought.. I do that with my boyfriend every once in a while and he loves it!

Weighing in from the girl perspective, I don't even have to do anything particularly naughty to get a reaction. Point in case, my guy was psyched that I did my hair and make up and took pics for him, he gets that I don't do my face everyday so he was excited I had put in the effort.

Oh and we're distance so my boy will hide poloroids of himself he takes around my house. I'll find them under things or in books and stuff, it makes me pretty swoony.

i totally dont agree with this! maybe im not like usual girls, but i dont think all girls, including myself, complicate everything! i love nothing more than my guy to send me a filthy pic and would much prefer this to paragraphs of text! and my reply wud most definately be to send one back!!

I guess I didn't put in enough qualifiers. Most, rarely, words like that are designed to say that there are exceptions.
Also, I am not saying that girls "complicate" anything, nor that girls necessarily prefer text to photos. I'm saying that a lot of girls prefer very specific conditions and a lot of girls are more verbal than visual. Get the idea?
So, if you prefer pix, and if that speaks louder to you than all the pretty words, great. But, yes, that is a little unusual. Not bad, wrong or whatever, just unusual.
