It's a 1969 Chevy Chevelle Malibu and that particular car just happens to be listed on eBay when I looked to verify. The Chevelle Malibu is a step up from the Chevelle and the 69 is the only year that they had that style of taillight.

There's more photos of the same car (and better restored Chevelle Malibus) on ebay, also.

The eBay item number is #250337680611

The Malibu was just an upgrade option... extra goodies. The 4 door looks different from the 2 door though - almost odd because of it's length and window differences.

Theres only one exhaust pipe on that bad boy, so it's probably the 230 inline six. It's a good strong platform to build on, as far as 6 cylinders go, but not as good as the 250 six (see cliffordperformance.net.) Chevelles are A body cars, which means they utilize a full frame, and that's a good thing. I grew up around Chevelles. My first ride home from the Hospital was in a '73 4 spd. 454, then my dad got a '70 396/th400 (I drove this one...whoa) Now he's got a '79 with a 454/th400 swapped in, it's not done yet but it will be fun as hell when it is. Good luck on your chevelle quest!

I almost forgot, if you are looking specifically for a '69 and you can't see the taillights to verify the year, you can also tell them apart from the '68s by the marker lights (turn signals on the body) they are big on the '68's and tiny on the '69s.
Image fire good...
