would that be your left, or their left? yours, right?

P.S. I am actually printing out all your tutorials and putting them in my new 'tutorial folder' with different sections in the folder for hair, make-up, clothes etc. I hope you don't mind  I can't believe I just admitted I have a tutorial folder. Now you'll all laugh at me.

Right side for a married woman would be my right (or you if it's your hair).
Same with the opposing.

Unfortunately, my hair has always been REALLY thick and heavy and would never have the ability to hold a finger wave, so I've never really learned that one. :(

Maybe someone else on here?

I don't think that's stupid! I have folders of bookmarks with things like tutorials in.
I wanna try this some time! I'm usually too impatient though. And I think my hair might be a bit too short.

I think you're looking for victory rolls... I'll do a tutorial on those in a couple of days. 40's rolls lay backwards and somewhat flat, victory rolls are upright and you can usually either see through them or look "into the tunnel" of them.

I'm always seeing all these rad chikas with 40s curls, thanks for finally unraveling the mystery on the process!
If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet, what happens if you strap toast on the back of a cat and drop it?

Would totally do this if i knew how to use a curling iron. I always get that weird crimp thing at the end. I've avoided using one for years because of this.

the same thing happens to me.. i feel just about stupid for not being able to properly work a curling iron.
i've started curling with a flat iron now... not as good (sometimes) but you dont get that crimpy thing at the bottom making your hair look like it's all burned up.
