Punks and their Pets: I wanna see some pics!

I asked a question in here if there was a pet thread http://punkrockdomestics.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=39178 and did a search to no avail. It's not in Yakkity Yak anymore and where there is a thread of pics with their sweeties in here, why not pets as well!

So lets see some critters!

Right now I have two kitties
Marmalade - just a mixed cat - she's about 8 or 9 years old and
Ichabod - a siamese kitty, he's about 4 years old

I used to have two doggies - but I live in an apartment building and it wasn't enough space for them, and then my building became no longer dog friendly. A husky mix named Spooky Girl (name she came with from the kill shelter I got her from) and a pure bred Doberman named Jasmine - also saved her from going back to a puppy mill to be put to death

These are my babies, Gizmo and Kiwi. Both of them are rescues.
Gizmo was on death's door when I got him.

It took about 3 months to nurse him back to health. He had an intestinal parasite that the shelter wasn't going to do anything about because they didn't want to waste money on a dog that might not be adopted. He was 11lbs when I got him, and now he's a healthy 21!

He is so sweet and loving and I couldn't imagine such a good dog dying from neglect.

Then I got Kiwi! I thought Gizmo needed a buddy, so I went to the Humane Society and found her. She was so terrified of being in the shelter. Her previous owners got rid of her because she was constantly getting beat up by the other dogs in the house, and they were sick of her whining. She is the definition of a lap dog! The second you're sitting she wants to be there. She loooooves giving kisses.


So they are my babies. They're such a joy to have! I seriously couldn't imagine my life without them.

The two doggies I had were rescued too, it feels so good to rescue a doggy, and bring them back to health (my doberman had every parasite and bacteria possible, and an open wound on her tail where they docked it and didn't stitch it). I wish I didn't live in an apartment so they could've continued their lives with me but I feel good at rescuing them and bringing them to health, giving them a good start on life!

My kitty Ichabod was a rescue as well, he was SOOO sick and small. He looked like a gremlin!

I love animals!
I have a cat and a dog. My cat is a bright orange tabby cat named Beast (my mom named him Henry but when he was a kitten his balls where way to big for his body and really funny so i started calling him a beast and it stuck). My dog is a brittany spaniel named Lexi. She was abused but we didn't get her from the shelter. We responded to a free dogs add in the news paper and when we got to the place the woman had soo many dogs. she had prbably 7 brittany's in one pen, beagles 2 to one rabbit cage stacked on top of each other 3 high and many more i could hear but couldn't see. Some breeders disgust me. She said that her house had recently burned down and she couldn't take care of all the dogs anymore. She just had too many period. When we first took lexi home she was afraid of everything, had tooth holes in her ears where the dominant dogs tagged her and wouldn't come out of her cage. Now 6 years later she is a fat and happy healthy dog.

I have *deep breath*

2 dogs Booga (golden retriever/german shepard mix) and Lacie (dalmatian mixed with something else not sure)
2 hamsters Boba Fett and Ham ( guess which one I named XD)
1 dumpy tree frog named Frederick
5 firebelly toads (Gilligan, Skipper, The Professor, Mary Ann, and Ginger)

haha sorry for all the pictures and junk buuuttt..... you asked and im ridiculously in love with my dog. her name is lola.











and this is my cat, josie, that i no longer live with. shes really not that evil, i just got bored.

i had a 16 year old cocker spaniel that we had to put down mid 2008... her health went from good to bad in the space of a week, she went into kidney failure and although we put her on dialysis for a few days, she lost the spark and wouldn't even stand up on her own or eat. It's the most heartbreaking thing i've ever gone through, we felt selfish trying to keep her alive when she was trying to tell us her time was up.

She was always more like a sister to me, we got her when i was 6 and because i was scared of her (well, dogs in general) when we got her, she always asserted her authority over me and treated me like her younger sibling haha she would always steal my spot on the couch, and beg from me more hahaha
