Chicken Curry

Postby ieatworms on Mon Mar 05, 2012 5:27 pm

I practically live off this as it's cheap and really easy to make

you will need:
an onion, chopped
a clove of garlic (or more/less whatever floats your boat), chopped
diced chicken
a tin of chopped tomatoes
a couple of tablespoons of natural yoghurt (I use fat free to mae it low cal)
a teaspoon of ground corriander
a teaspoon of curry powder
a teaspoon of garam masala
a pinch of cinamon
salt and pepper
a little oil
cooked rice to serve (I'm not gonna patronize you and tell you how to cook rice)

fry the onion and garlic in a pan till soft and chuck in the chicken, fry untill cooked through, lower the heat and chuck in the tomatoes and the spices and season, simmer for a couple of minutes and take off the heat, stir through the yogurt and serve with the rice.
