it got to at least 95 F here today, and i had to hike about [littereally, no joking] $1000 worth of baby stuff up to my friends' appartment after their shower. i'm glad it was only on the second story, but i wish the stairs were indoors instead of out. too hot for this weakling! however, the point of this is, it reminded me how much cooler it can be in the shade. so if you must go out, try to stick to a shady area, with a breeze if possible.

Ugh dude yeah! It gets so bad in the Midwest. It's so damn humid here. I'd trade it for desert climates any day.
Okay, ramblers, let's get rambling.

^DEFINITELY! Humid heat is stifling. When I was in Lousiana the air no longer felt like air. And you wake up sticky. It's just gnarly. blech. And it was only like 90 max when I was there. 110 degrees in the desert is like a vacation compared to that.

We keep the AC on 72 and keep our asses inside! I refuse to do any outdoor activities when it's this hot. Weather.com says it's 104 outside right now and the humidity is ridiculous. This sucks! My husband wants us to take his daughter to the park today, but we're gonna have to wait until sunset...

I live in Louisiana, where it is hot and humid as hell. I get heat sick when I'm out for too long. I will try some of these and see how well they work.
