Maybe I'm playing devil's advocate here, but how reputable is this news source? When I searched for it elsewhere, its only on sites that are dedicated to one cause (feminism, lesbianism, alternative living) and not really a neutral news source. I think it could be easy to spin a story like this. Perhaps some of these children are born hermaphroditic, and that's why the parents request the surgery.

I'm going to have to say that I back this up. How true is this article for real? I mean I live close to Ithaca NY, I go there all the time. If this was going on, which of course I don't know the news 100% of the time, but this is a big friggen deal and i'm sure that it would make the news. Yeah sometimes people leak news out blah blah blah but I just feel that it would have gone to a way bigger news source if it were going on.
