I'm not sure why everyone is attacking PETA...?
I mean, please don't jump on me or anything. I'm kind of new to REALLY looking into this, and nothing I've read/heard about them seemed all that bad. Some stuff seems a little over the top, to say the least, but sometimes shock factor can be helpful, right? So if anyone could point me in the direction of actual information, that would be great.
Also, personally, I'm against people hunting animals in such large quantities. I understand that seal meat and etc. can be very useful to people who live in that area and actually hunt them and use every part of the animal, but honestly, it's pretty much our fault that the seal population has gotten so large, right? If there were more predators to keep things in balance, we wouldn't have to hunt seals to keep their population in check. Lack of predators, in most cases, stems from either climate change (mostly, if not all, our fault) or killing them because they kill and eat our domesticated animals, such as cattle (entirely our fault.) Correct me if I'm wrong.
As I said, I'm not claiming to know a lot about seals and their habitat. In fact, I'm not claiming to know anything about seals and their habitat. I just don't agree with the killing of animals, under most curcumstances, regardless of how 'cute' they are.
