Just moved to Chambersburg, PA

. . . technically, I'm not "new" to this site, but I'm always too shy to post. My name is Christina, and I just moved to downtown Chambersburg, PA from the dc metro area in Maryland. I know NO ONE here other than my boyfriend. I'm getting to know the area, and I love it. It would just be nice to know people, particularly ones I have things in common with. I'm almost 28, super laid back, kind of a tom boy, love tattoos, listen to hardcore still (but in my old age, don't really go to shows . . . I'd be willing to), love movies and books, trying to get into crafts more. Trick is I don't drive. I'm in the process of working on a bike, and then getting rollerskates. Oh, and possibly starting hair school.

Anyways, if anyone knows of places to go to meet people that might have similar interests, I'd be stoked for feedback.

=).

Thanks.

And nice to meet all of you! Sorry I haven't posted before!

I'm not so far from Chambersburg: I'm in Brunswick, MD, and work in Frederick MD. Basically, I'd say your best bet would be to look for where So Damn Thirsty plays, because it changes.
There really isn't a coherent "scene", as far as I can tell. You've got teenagers hanging out at the Hot topic, and surrounding mall, and older folks, like me are just kinda hanging out in the woodwork.
As for Tattoos- you should give Hub City Tattoos a shot. There's also Time Bomb and Mark of the Spark in Frederick.
However, I know you don't drive. That is a problem, I'll be honest. However, look at a map sometime, and you can see that I'm about 60 miles away. So, I do get around Chambersburg, every once in awhile- So PM me, we can exchange info, and I'll try to keep you informed of stuff, as best I can. Now, bear in mind, I'm pretty old, and I'm happily married, with a job, and a family, so, I'm not exactly mr excitement- but I still know a few things.

Thank you for responding! I'll definitely have to check all of that out. =). I just jumped on to check my e-mail, but will try to PM you within the next few days hopefully.

Eh, I'm pretty boring though. I hang out with my boyfriend and cat . . . that's about it for now. Lol.

Cool enough- like I said, send me a PM, and we can exchange info. Or not- no pressure!
